A simple nightly rhythm they will ask for
Bedtime works best when it always goes the same way. Every story in this book follows the same shape, so your child knows what is coming and settles into it.

Made for the last ten minutes of the day
Settling a child isn’t about doing more. It’s about the right words at the right moment, when the lights are low and the day is finally over.
One story a night, one prayer said together, and the room slows down on its own.

From the first light to Easter morning
From the first light to Easter morning
Twelve of the stories every child should grow up with, chosen to carry the whole arc of Scripture from creation to the empty tomb.
Old Testament: In the Beginning, Two by Two, The Shepherd Boy, Jonah and the Big Fish, Three Brave Friends, Brave in the Den
New Testament: Born in Bethlehem, Who Is My Neighbor, The Father Who Waited, Peace Be Still, Loaves and Fishes, He Is Risen
Every one of them ends the same way, with God close and your child safe.

Frequently asked questions
My child never sits still for a book. Will this one hold them?
Each story is short, around ten minutes, and every page has a full illustration to look at while you read. Most children settle because the rhythm is always the same: picture, story, prayer, lights out. They stop wondering what comes next and start waiting for it.
Are the stories still true to the Bible if they are softened?
Nothing is changed, only the way it is told. Noah’s flood, Goliath, the fiery furnace are all in the book. What we removed is the dread, not the truth. And every story closes with a real verse printed with its reference, so your child hears Scripture itself, not just a retelling.
We already have a children’s Bible. How is this different?
Most children’s Bibles are made to teach. This one is made to end the day. The language is slower, the pictures are calmer, and each story finishes with a prayer and a blessing meant to be the last words your child hears before sleep.
I’m not comfortable praying out loud with my child. Does that matter?
No. The prayer is written for you, four or five short lines you simply read aloud together. There is nothing to improvise and nothing to know in advance.
My child can’t read yet. Is it too soon?
No. It is written to be read to them. Little ones follow the illustrations while they listen, and the wondering question at the end gives them something to answer even before they can read a word.
What is the wondering question for?
It is one gentle question at the end of each story, with no right answer. Some nights it makes your child laugh. Some nights it is where a worry finally comes out. Either way it gives you a reason to stay a minute longer.
Will it survive a toddler?
It is built for it. Hardcover with rounded corners, sewn binding so pages do not come loose, and thick 100g paper that holds up to small hands turning them every night.
